Coastal Action Plan 2011 Review for Corio Bay
Please find below the Coastal Action Plan (CAP) review report for Corio Bay.
A review of the Corio Bay CAP has been prompted by the five year timeframe under the provisions of the Coastal Management Act 1995.
The Corio Bay CAP was a joint project between the City of Greater Geelong and the CCB. The CAP Implementation Committee has met and provided input to a review report which assesses the progress of all actions in the CAP. Of the 112 actions in the CAP, 90% were found to be complete or in progress. From this initial assessment the CAP's performance was judged as successful by all partner agencies in improving coastal management coordination for Corio Bay.
Given the value attached to the CAP and its role in improving coastal management coordination for this area, the CCB will undertake discussions with the City of Greater Geelong and other stakeholders to consider the next steps.
