Staff

Executive Officer
Annette Hatten has been the Executive Officer for the Central Coastal Board since April 2008. She has 19 years’ experience in working with the Department of Sustainability and Environment in planning and management for parks, protected areas and coasts. Annette has also worked for the Department of Conservation and Environment in Western Australia in coastal planning and management. She completed her honours thesis in coastal geomorphology at James Cook University of North Queensland.

Project Officer
Catharina Greve joined the Central Coastal Board in January 2008.   She has been a lecturer in Coastal Zone Management, Coastal Geomorphology and Conservation Geomorphology (among other subjects) and completed her PhD on Climate Change and Coastal Vulnerability Assessment in 2001 at The University of Sydney.   Catharina also has a background in the application of Geographic Information Systems.

Project Officer
Ronelle Retief joined the CCB in September 2009, following her recent permanent move to Australia.   Ronelle's background is in community based natural resource management, having worked in various capacities with international NGO's in Kenya. Her particular interest has been focused on working both in integrated catchment management and wetlands.  More recently Ronelle has completed a Masters in Water and Environmental Resource Management, gaining experience in flood risk assessments and environmental impact assessments with an engineering company in London.
